I like pineapple on my pizza, and I eat watermelon with rice. And I'm not a fan of phở (more of a bún bò Huế guy).

Okay, now that's out of the way, my name is Tri, pronounced like "tree", like:

• backcountry
• trigonometry
• Christmas tree

You get the picture. And way back when I was trying to come up with a business name, I was thinking why not incorporate my last name's initial since it rhymes with "photography". Hence, Tri D Photography was slated on the DBA form so I could pay my taxes. I'm slowly transitioning to Tri D Visual since I'm thinking of incorporating videos into my business in the future.

I'm based out of Austin, TX, but will travel for out of town gigs. I've been a freelance photographer since 2010. I'm specialized in weddings, portraiture, families, and special events.

I believe in giving back to my community. I was a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas until my Little Bro graduated, and I still help out in some capacity. Most of the photos of the Bigs and Littles they use for marketing were taken by me. I also provide pro bono service for AFSSA, a local survivor-centered organization supporting women, men, and children who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, or trafficking.
